Towing the machine
Consult the local regulations about towing on public roads.
WARNING
Prevent accidents and damage to the drive system.
If the engine of the machine is not running, the brakes will not work. Use a tow-
ing vehicle with sufficient braking power.
Connect the machine to the towing vehicle with a tow bar before disengaging
the gearboxes and releasing the brakes (to prevent the machine can move
freely).
Procedure:
1.
Connect a tow bar [1] to the tow point [2].
Connect the tow bar to the towing vehicle [3].
Prevent damage to the bottom of the cab [4]:
select a low tow point on the towing vehicle.

Manually disengage the wheel gearboxes

Manually release the brakes

4.
Sit down on the driver’s seat and steer the
machine while being towed. If the engine is
not running, steering will be difficult.
5.
Do not tow faster than 3 mph.
6.
Do not tow further than 2 miles.
