2.7 Spray pump unit
The spray pump unit is installed between the rear wheels. The spray pump unit is used for filling
the tanks and for spraying. The spray pump [6] (a diaphragm pump) is driven by a hydraulic motor
[5]. The suction hose [1] is connected for the filling of the tanks. The non-return valve [2] prevents
the spray liquid from flowing back. During the filling of the tanks, the water is filtered by the suction
filter [4]. The pressure filter [8] prevents clogging of the spray nozzles. The liquid flows are con-
trolled with electric valves. A pressure regulator [7] controls the operating pressure of the sprayer.
