7 TROUBLESHOOTING
7.1 Introduction
Consult the table if there are any problems. Contact your dealer if you cannot solve the problem.
7.2 Problems, causes and solutions
ENGINE
Problem Possible cause Solution

The starter motor
does not work or the
speed is too low Discharged batteries Recharge the batteries.
Use auxiliary batteries 83
Loose battery clamps Tighten the battery clamps
Corroded battery clamps Clean the battery clamps
The engine does not
start or starts difficult The start procedure is not
obeyed Refer to the start procedure 82
The control lever is not in the
neutral center position Put the control lever in the
neutral center position 82
No connection between the
batteries and the machine Put the key in the battery
switch. Turn the key clock-
wise 82
Clogged air filter Message on the main screen:
“Clean / replace the air filter
elements”

Clogged fuel filter Replace the filter
Air in the fuel system Bleed the system
Wrong fuel Drain the system.
