In the Category drop-down menu, choose a category subfolder to place
the formula.
In the When drop-down menu, choose when the calculation is executed;
see the online Help menu for further details.
In the Notation drop-down menu, choose to display values in either
fixed or scientific notation.
The Default text box enables you to set the default value for the selected
formula.
The following checkboxes turn these features On (select) or Off (clear):

Recalculate Post-Test
: Controls whether the formula is calculated
after the test. If this checkbox is selected, then selecting
Recalculate
Sample
or
Recalculate Test
from the Tools menu will recalculate
the formula.
•
Never Recalculate
: Controls whether the formula can be calculated
more than one time.
•
Sample Level
: Determines whether a formula is sample-level
(selected) or test-level (cleared). A sample-level formula has the
same value for every test within a sample. A test-level formula can
have a different value for every test within a sample.
•
Reset to the default values
: Resets the formula to its default value.
•
Hidden
: Controls whether the formula is hidden from view in the
Test and Review pages.
•
Locked
: Controls whether the formula can be deleted. If this
checkbox is selected, then the formula can be deleted only by
someone with Creator privileges.
Marker Tab
The Marker tab, shown in
, is available only for formulas
that are defined as integers. If the
Marker
checkbox is cleared, then the
other options in the Marker tab are not available.
