For samples that are not sensitive to heat, follow these steps:

Locate a sample disk and place it on a heating element (hot plate), as
shown in
.

Turn the heating element on medium-low heat and wait for the disk
to heat for about 5 minutes (or until it is hot enough to melt
crystalbond).

When the disk is warm, spread a small amount of crystalbond onto
the surface of the disk, as shown in
.

N O T E
The following procedures are for mounting a single sample on a sample
disk. However, you can mount many samples on a single sample disk.
