Module{Exchange Program
Many ma jor assem blies are co v ered b y the mo dule{exc hange program. Under the terms of
the program, factory{repaired and tested assem blies are a v ailable on a trade{in basis (a
defectiv e assem bly must b e returned for credit). Exc hange assem blies meet all new assem bly
sp ecications, but are less exp ensiv e. Figure 9-1 illustrates the mo dule exc hange pro cedure.
In order to prev en t damage when returning pro ducts to Agilent T ec hnologies, use original or
comparable pac k aging.
