27. Set the microw a v e amplier output p o w er lev el to +16 dBm.
28. On the sp ectrum analyzer, select external mixer and set the frequency range for the
mixer. Then set:
Center Frequency: 23 GHz
Frequency Span: 0 Hz
29. Repeat steps 5 through 10 recording the risetime and falltime v alues in T able 2-20. F or
83630B only , record the w orst case risetime and w orst case falltime v alues from T able 2-19
and T able 2-20 on the test record.
Procedure > 26.5 to 40 GHz.
30. Replace the HP/Agilent 11970K Mixer with the HP/Agilent 11970A Mixer.
31. Repeat steps 5 through 10 at syn thesizer and sp ectrum analyzer CW frequencies of 30 and
35 GHz, recording the risetime and falltime v alues in T able 2-20. F or 83640B only , record
the w orst case risetime and w orst case falltime v alues from T able 2-19 and T able 2-20 on
the test record.
Procedure > 40 GHz to 50 GHz.
32. Replace the HP/Agilent 11970A Mixer with the HP/Agilent 11970Q Mixer (33 to 50
GHz).
33. Repeat steps 5 through 10 at syn thesizer and sp ectrum analyzer CW frequencies of
45 GHz and record the risetime and falltime v alues in T able 2-20. F or the 83650B
only , record the w orst case risetime and w orst case falltime v alues from T able 2-19 and
T able 2-20 on the test record.
