EDG-4508/4516 Diagnostic

EDG-4508/4516 Diagnostic is used to test the operation of EDG-4508/
4516 . In this section we explain how to configure and use EDG-4508/4516
Diagnostic.

To start EDG-4508/4516 Server Diagnostic, click on:

1. Start —> Programs —> EDG-4508/4516  —> EDG-4508/4516 Diagnostic.

2. The EDG-4508/4516 Diagnostics window will open, from which you

can navigate to the different functions provided by this utility.

Toolbar Functions

In this section we describe how to use the EDG-4508/4516 Diagnostic
toolbar functions.

Configuration

The first time you run EDG-4508/4516 Diagnostics you will need to
choose configuration settings by selecting target servers, ports,

and diagnostics items.

1. To start the configuration procedure, either choose Config from the

Diagnose menu, or click on the toolbar Config icon.

2. The Diagnostic Config window will open, displaying the tabs Test

Object, Test Item and Communication Parameters. We start with the
Test Item tab, which is chosen by default when the window opens.
