created from any available signal in the IED that is connected to the Event function (EVENT).
The event function block is used for LON and SPA communication.
Analog and double indication values are also transferred through EVENT function.
17.5.3
Setting guidelines
IP14841-1 v1
M12811-3 v2
The parameters for the Event (EVENT) function are set via the local HMI or PCM600.
EventMask (Ch_1 - 16)
M12811-5 v2
The inputs can be set individually as:
•
NoEvents
•
OnSet, at pick-up of the signal
•
OnReset, at drop-out of the signal
•
OnChange, at both pick-up and drop-out of the signal
•
AutoDetect
LONChannelMask or SPAChannelMask
M12811-15 v2
Definition of which part of the event function block that shall generate events:
•
Off
•
Channel 1-8
•
Channel 9-16
•
Channel 1-16
MinRepIntVal (1 - 16)
M12811-29 v3
A time interval between cyclic events can be set individually for each input channel. This can be
set between 0 s to 3600 s in steps of 1 s. It should normally be set to 0, that is, no cyclic
communication.
M12811-34 v1
It is important to set the time interval for cyclic events in an optimized way to
minimize the load on the station bus.
