CoE
CANopen over EtherCAT; The use of the CANopen
communication protocol over the basic EtherCAT®
communication.
EMCY
Emergency Object; Used for transmitting information of errors that
have occurred in a device.
Object Dictionary
A local storage of all communication objects recognized by the
device.
OSI
Open Systems Interconnection.
PDO
Process Data Object; Used for transmitting time critical data, such
as control commands, references and actual values.
RO
Denotes read-only access.
RW
Denotes read/write access.
SDO
Service Data Object; Used for transmitting non time critical data,
such as parameters.
