Table 20
lists the directory structure with related files for an EMS server
and EMS GUI and CLI client installation.
Files and directories not listed in
Table 20
are for internal use only and
must not be modified or deleted unless directed to do so by a 3Com
customer service representative.
In HA Mode these directories are re-created by the EMS server on its first
run, according to the EMSFILEHOME setting in the local_server.properties
file.
Table 21
lists other EMS files not included in the standard directory
structure for an EMS server and EMS GUI and CLI client installation (in
a Windows environment). These files are usually found in the root
installation folder
.

backups
Where the back-up files are stored.
goldenConfigs
Where the Golden Configuration files are created.
goldenTemplate
Where the Golden Configuration templates are stored.
log
This directory contains all of the server and audit logs
generated by the EMS server. For more information about

mib
This directory contains all of the MIB files for the core and
packages installed on a particular EMS server.
software_upgrades
This is the directory where you place all agent image files
used for software upgrades. For more information, see
Importing Agent Images for Device Upgrades
in the
Enterprise Management Server Administration Guide
.

This file is the executable file used to start the EMS CLI
