4.9.13.2 Frame light switch
4.9.13.3 Key switch
Warning! To avoid damaging the ignition device, keep the key for less than 15 seconds
in the engine start position .
Warning! When the preheating machine is in use, failure to use starting liquid for the
preheating machine can make the starting liquid explode
This switch is used for turning on/off the frame light.
– O . In this position, the frame light turns off.
– I. In this position, the frame light turns on.
The key switch has four levels arranged from the left to the right in the
following
order, each having their respective function:
1) position: used for electric preheating in freezing days
2)
“ O ” position (Engine “off”) : In this position, the engine flames out, and
the electrical system powers off. However, cabin lights injection pump (if
equipped) still work.
3) “I” position (full power supply) : In this position, the device provides
power for the whole vehicle.
– Switch to this position before turning the engine “on”.
– Check if both the battery charge indicator and oil pressure
indicator light up by default.
4) position ( engine “on” ): This position starts the engine. As you let it
go, the key reverts to the "I" position.
position (electrical preheating/warm-up ):
– Switch to this position when ambient temperature is below 0°.
– When the warm-up process is over, the preheat indicator will light up
on the instrument panel.
