1.0 PURPOSE
The purpose of this procedure is to provide the methods for the collection, analysis, and
reporting of environmental exposure rates in and around the Cotter Corporation (N.S.L.)
(“Cotter”), Canon City Milling Facility and to comply with the current Colorado
Radioactive Materials License.
2.0 SCOPE
This procedure applies to all environmental Thermoluminescent Dosimeters (“TLD”)
distributed and collected for evaluation of the surrounding areas of the milling facility to
determine exposure to the environment and public.

4.1 TLD : a dosimeter which provides personal dose interpretation of beta, x-ray, and

Environmental Coordinator (EC).
