MAINTENANCE/CALIBRATION
5.3.1
Refer to the TopCon equipment operating, user, and reference manuals for
specific instructions, troubleshooting and maintenance.
6.0
HEALTH AND SAFETY
6.1
Sample technicians should be certain all mechanical equipment is in good repair
and properly maintained before attempting its use.
6.2
Traffic safety will be considered when working near roadways.
6.3
Measurement should not be conducted during adverse weather conditions such as
during electrical storms.
7.0
RESPONSIBILITY
7.1
The QA Manager is responsible for:
7.1.1
Administering principals to assure adherence to procedures and policies
found in the QAPP current version.
7.2
The Environmental Coordinator (EC) is responsible for:
7.2.1
Insuring the field technicians are properly trained and following correct
procedures.
7.2.2
Reviewing data from surveying activities.
7.3
The Field sample technician is responsible for:
7.3.1
Having all necessary materials and supplies prior to commencement of
surveying.
