Radon Flux Measurement

NOTE: Take care to avoid charcoal spillage and to preserve the charcoal
during charcoal transfer.

8.2.4.

The sealed charcoal containers are packaged and shipped to the radon
emission contractor, Tellco Environmental, Inc. for analysis.

8.2.5.

Temperature and rainfall information is recorded at the time of sample
retrieval from the portable instruments or from the on-site weather station.

8.2.6.

Second round deployment and testing are conducted on Days 3 and 4 and
follow the same procedural sequence described above for the first round
activity.

8.3.

Canister and Equipment Decontamination

8.3.1.

At completion of the testing, emptied canisters and related equipment are
decontaminated when required based on contamination surveys.

8.3.2.

The canisters and associated equipment are then boxed and shipped back
to Tellco Environmental, Inc.
