Note that GPIN2 is dedicated to audio/video switching and fading.
Vela Media Bus Direction
When performing audio/video switching and fading, two CineCast HD decoders
are connected together through a ribbon cable, called the Vela Media Bus. One
card is configured to output video and audio data onto the Media Bus; the second
card is configured as an input.
0b — Vela Media Bus is an input.
1b — Vela Media Bus is an output.
Video Source Select
Determines whether video source comes from this card’s video decoder or from
the other card across the Vela Media Bus.
0b — Video source from this decoder (Primary).
1b — Video source from other HD decoder across the
Vela Media Bus (Adjacent).
Genlock Valid
Returns state of genlock source and Video Switch status. Bit 4 reflects the status
of the video switch; bit 3 reflects the status of the genlock input source.
0b — Genlock loss or standalone mode (non-genlock).
1b — Genlock is valid.

Set to 1 when decoder enters a pause on data underflow condition. See
MPEG
PLAY
(A5h), Error Recovery on Data Underflow (ErrRcvy).
Queue
Set after a
RESET
BUFFER
is received; cleared only after playback has started.
Play
Set to 1 when playback is active; 0 indicates decoder is idle.
Unused FIFO Data After Stop
Reports the number of 64-K blocks of MPEG data unused after a Stop has been
issued.
Last Decoder Command
Indicates the last command code executed by the decoder firmware. See Opcode
45h
