DECODER Command (45h)
002C Built-in Test Pattern (Color Bars): Begins playback of an internal color
bar pattern. Playback continues until a Soft Reset (0000h) command is sent.
002D Blank/Unblank Video: If bit 8 is set to 1 (Blank 012Dh), playback
continues with the video blacked out (audio continues). If bit 8 is set to 0
(Unblank 002Dh), video returns to normal.
002F Volume Control: This command is implemented for compatibility with
existing SCSI decoder products; however, it is recommended that command
0008h Set Audio Gain be used instead.
0033h Set Background Color: Whenever the decoder is idle (i.e. playback not
active), the decoder outputs black. If “Set Background Color” is sent, the decoder
will output the specified color. The default color is black, but can be optionally set
to blue or any color specified by the user.

10 Genlock Loss Error Capability provided.
ASB= 0107 Genlock Sync Lost.
11 Collision Errors (Sense Key =
01h, ASCQ = 1800h) Firmware monitors the fullness of the audio and
video rate buffers. An error is generated when
the rate buffer is detected as empty.
ASB = 0104 Video Rate Buffer Empty
ABS = 0204 Audio Rate Buffer Empty
12 Audio Channel Buffer Error Not provided; use Collision Error instead.
13 Audio/Video MPEG Decode Error
(MPEG syntax error) Capability is NOT provided.
14 Video Channel Buffer Error Not provided; use Collision Error instead.
15 Lip Sync Reporting
(Sense Key = 01h, ASCQ =
5C02h) All lip sync is under control of the MPEG
decoder hardware. Notification is provided for:
ASB = 0108 Frame Repeat
ASB = 0109 Frame Skipped
ASB = 0207 Sequence End
ASB = 0408 SCR Discontinuity
