0047 Video/Audio Fade
Video Source
This selects the new video source:
NOTE : Video Switching/Fading requires both channels to be Genlocked to the same
Genlock source. If Genlock is not valid on both channels when switching video, the
video switch will be ignored and the following error will be returned:
RECOVERED ERROR, GENLOCK SYNC LOST
Fade to Black
This field is reserved, Fade to Black (background) is the only supported fade
operation.The current video source will fade to black (or background color) and
then fade from black (or background color) to the new video source. Background
color is specified in command 0033h.
Fade Down/Up
Used to determine the direction of the fade, whether up or down:
0 — Fade up
1 — Fade down and set GPI2
GPI2 is an internal signal on the Vela media bus used to signal the secondary
decoder when the Fade Down is complete, so that the secondary can begin the
Fade Up operation.
Secondary Decoder
Determines which decoder is the Primary Decoder (decoder which audio/video
output is being monitored):
1 — Secondary decoder
0 — Primary decoder (this is the one whose output is monitored
where video/audio switching occurs)
One decoder must be set to be Primary and the other decoder must be set to be
Secondary.
