DECODER Command (45h)
3. After a loss of genlock. The genlock resync will occur upon reacquisi-
tion and detection of the genlock signal.
001A Resume from Slow or Fast Motion:
This command is used to restore
normal playback rate after Slow or Fast Motion.
001B Output Resolution Setup:
This command is use to select the output video
resolution from the various HD resolutions available 1080i, 720p, 480p, and
480i. The HD decoder hardware provides up-conversion and down-conversion of
source video (MPEG stream) to the selected display format. The CineCast HD
provides Serial Digital, Analog HD RGB or YPbPr, and a down-converted analog
composite SD output. The upper 8-bits of the 16-bit Command (0x001B) are not
used. Three fields within the 32-bit data define the Display Group, Display Tim-
ing, and HD Analog Video Output Type.
Display Group
Allows the choice of one of 15 display groups. See table below.
Display Timing Parameter
Allows the choice of one of several format resolutions within the display group, see
the table that starts on the next page. The most common ATSC resolutions are:
1080i
1920H x 1080V interlaced
720p
1280H x 720V progressive (non-interlaced)
480p
704 or 720H x 480V progressive (non-interlaced)
480i
704 or 720H x 480V interlaced
