MPEG PLAY Command
Decoder Firmware Revision
Returns revision of decoder firmware, which is the same as that reported in the
product revision field of the Standard Inquiry data.
Programmable Logic (PLD) Revision
Returns revision of the programmable logic.
FPGA Revision
Returns revision of the FPGA.
SCSI Controller Hardware Revision:
Returns the hardware revision of the SCSI controller. Current revision is “117."
SCSI Controller Firmware Revision
Returns the firmware revision of the SCSI controller. Current revision is “0910.”
TL850 Revision
Returns revision of the MPEG decoding hardware.
Firmware Build Date
Returns eight ASCII characters reflecting the build date of the firmware, e.g.,
“01/10/98”.
MPEG PLAY Command
(OpCode 0xA5, 12 bytes)
This is an OpCode taken from the
CDROM PLAY AUDIO
(12) command which is
used to start decoder playback. This command is the primary mechanism for
controlling decoder playback.
The power-up default video resolution is the last selected resolution. To change
resolutions, decoder (45h) command with command code 001Bh must be used.
