DECODER Command (45h)
Post-Black
16-bit post-black interval in video frames. A value of 0h uses the default of eight
frames. In Single playback mode, this field specifies the minimum number of black
frames until starting the next play. A value of 0h uses the default of eight frames.
In Switched playback mode, this field represents the amount of black which is
inserted between the switched playback. A value of 0 means no black is inserted
before changing channels.
NOTE: The CineCast HD does not currently support post-black.
Frame Count
32-bit frame count in video frames. Video and audio will play back for this speci-
fied number of frames. A value of 0h plays in non-frame count mode.
NOTE: The CineCast HD does not currently support frame count.
Trigger Event
When Trigger = 1, this field determines which event will start (trigger) the playback.
To cancel a pending Triggered Playback, use the Stop command (decoder com-
mand 45h with command code 0023h). To override the Triggered Playback, send
the command “Resume from Pause” (0012h). This will cancel the wait for trigger
and force playback to begin immediately.
For a Hardware Trigger based on either GPIN1 or GPIN2, the decoder waits for
the trigger discrete input (GPIN1 or GPIN2) to be closed (grounded) before
beginning playback. GPIN2 is located on the Vela Media Bus (VMB).
DECODER Command (45h)

This is an OpCode taken from
CDROM PLAY AUDIO
(10), which is used to control
decoder operation. This OpCode is for experienced users who desire additional
control over the decoder’s operation. Format of the command is:
