Packet Tab

RX:

Displays the received optical power in dBm. This status indicator will flash

when one or more received Optical Lanes' power level exceeds the laser
module's Power Warm or Power Hot thresholds.

For MPM cards that have an MLD tab this is an aggregate broadband power

value, based on the combined power levels from all of the laser module's received
Optical Lanes. See the

MLD Receive - SIG

screen for individual Optical Lane

power levels.

•

E/A:

Indicates the current

Error / Alarm

configured for transmission. This is a

status indicator.

•

Test Paused:

This LED will turn Red if the

Pause Test

button has been selected.

Any errors or alarms received while the test is paused will not be recorded in any
of the Results statistics.

•

All Tests:

Provides a shortcut to the

All Test Status

screen (located under the

System tab) which shows a general status summary of all circuit packs installed
in the unit.

Quick Status LEDs Color Description

Typically a

Red

LED indicates a problem, whereas a

Green

White

LED indicates

error-free operation.

•

If an LED if

and the LED's Text is

Alarm condition has not occurred at any time during the current test.

Quick Status Area LED's that are

underlined

are "Summary Status" LEDs and can

be selected to display a summary pop-up window to show the individual LEDs ,and
sometimes error/alarm statistics, related to that status LED.
