SDH Tab 

392 

The test options available under the SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) protocol 
processor tabs can vary from one card type to another, depending on the test options 
supported and actively licensed.  

This section of the help file will list all Interface rates and test options currently available 
for each card type.

The SDH tab on 

MPM-100G

 and 

MPM-100AR

 modules support 

STM-256

 

(39.81G) via pluggable QSFP+ laser modules. 

•

 

The two SDH tabs on 

MPM-10G

 modules independently support testing of 

STM-

64

 (9953.28M), 

STM-16

 (2488.32M), 

STM-4

 (622.08M), 

STM-1

 (155.52M) and 

STM-0

 (51.84M) Interface rates via pluggable SFP and SFP+ laser modules. 

All Interface rates supported by the card type that are actively licensed can be 

selected from the Interface menu, regardless if the inserted laser module supports the 
selected rate or not. The user should verify that the inserted laser module supports the 
desired Interface rate prior to selecting it.
