by each active stream. 

Initial Laser Setting 

Controls whether the laser is on or off when the unit is turned 
on. 

The following options are available:

Off

 - The unit's laser will be off when the unit is turned 

on. 

•

 

On

 - The unit's laser will be on when the unit is turned 

on. 

•

 

Restore Previous State

 - When the unit is turned on, 

the laser will be on or off based on its previous setting 
before the unit was turned off. 

Information about the configuration of the streams are displayed in the Stream Profile 
Table. 

 

At the left, there is one button to turn on and off the fibre channel stream. The other 
columns of information can be seen by using the scroll bar at the bottom or by 
rearranging the columns. These are the columns (note that the sequence may be 
different, depending upon how the user has arranged the columns):

Indicates whether the Fibre Channel stream is being 
transmitted (On) or not (Off)
