Available indicates that an OTN specific interface rate is not
currently selected on the port's OTN tab.
Notice : If an available port's SONET/SDH or Ethernet interfaces
are currently under test on another protocol tab, then the Current
Interface will still show that port's OTN interface is
Available , and
selecting that port to be added to the OTUCn group will interrupt any
tests currently active it the other protocol tab.
The text will appear black when the port is locked , and gray when
the port is unlocked or locked by another user .
When the OTN port is a member of an OTUCn group, then the
group's OTUCn "n" size, group #, and its Slice # in that group are
displayed.
For example, OTUC2 #1 Slice:1 means that this port Slice #1 (the
controlling slice) in OTUC2 group #1.

Selection This button allows you to select which OTN ports are added to each
OTUCn group, in sequential order.
The number of ports added to an OTUCn determines the "n" size of
the OTUCn, where an OTUC1 has one group member and an OTUC6
has six group members.
Each OTN port assigned on an OTUCn group is referred to as a
" Slice ", where Slice #1 is always the controlling slice for that OTUCn
group.
Mapping Selects the type of mapping to be distributed in the OTUCn group's
payload.

PRBS: Inserts a PRBS payload pattern into the OTUCn group.
Use the Payload Pattern menu from the Set1 screen to select
which PRBS pattern to use

Null Client: Inserts an All Zeros payload pattern into the
OTUCn group
Only the OTUCn group's controlling Slice (Slice #1) displays the
OTUCn test's Mapping setting.
Status Displays an at-a-glance view of incoming error and alarm activity for
each Slice (port) in the OTUCn group.

The LED remains Green when no error or alarm is currently
