Packet Tab

526

Line Control

Configures the electrical interface Line Control mode.

Auto

- Set line control mode to Auto-negotiate

Master

- Set line control mode to Master only

Slave

- Set line control mode to Slave only

The Line Control setting is only available for 1 Gbps elect

@ FDX interface.

Electrical Ethernet rates require an

Electrical RJ-45 SFP

module.

Status

Displays the current Negotiate or Line Control status.

This setting is only available for applicable Ethernet

Interface rates.

Reflect

Allows the user to start IP Packet Reflection Mode.

Valid options are:

Digital
Lightwave
Packets Only

This will only reflect back data packets
that were generated from a Digital
Lightwave test unit.

When these packets are reflected,

the Source and Destination MAC
addresses and IP Addresses are
swapped, to allow the packets to be
re-routed back to the originating
source.

All Non-Routing
Packets

This will reflect back all data packets,
not just from Digital Lightwave test
units, but it will not reflect Routing
packets such as ARP and negotiation.

Thru Mode

This will pass through every data
