The following error types can be monitored:

Error Type

Description

Undersized

A frame whose length is < 64 bytes, with good FCS/CRC
checksum

Invalid FCS

An error in the Frame Check Sequence (CRC checksum),
and whose Frame length is ≥ 64 bytes

Invalid IP

An error in the frame's IP Checksum

Invalid UDP

An error in the frame's UDP Checksum

Runt

A frame whose length is < 64 byte with an FCS error (GFP-T
mode only)

Corr cHEC

An Correctable Core Header Error Control error occurred,
which is a CRC-16

Uncorr cHEC

An Uncorrectable Core Header Error Control error occurred,
which is a CRC-16
