OTN Tab

For OTN, each ODU layer has its own TCM (Tandem Connection Monitoring)

overhead section consisting of six TCM fields (

TCM:1-TCM:6

), including multi-level and

multi-channel ODTU Add/Drop mappings.

Quick Status Area LED's that are underlined are "Summary Status" LEDs and can be

selected to display a summary pop-up window to show the individual LEDs, and
sometimes error/alarm statistics, related to that status LED.

If the TCM Summary LED is red, select the "

TCM Summary

" text to display a

detailed LED window with all of the OTN TCM errors and alarms for

TCM:1

TCM:6

•

The OTN TC LEDs window appears in the center of the screen.

The following describes the TCM LEDs that appear for each of the six TCM Fields
