Packet Tab

654

Statistics Table

Displays the frame loss test results for a specified packet
size. The results display the nine rates determined by the BW
Ceiling and BW Floor settings. The following statistics are
displayed:

Rate %

- Indicates the percentage of bandwidth transmitted

using the bandwidth ceiling and floor settings.

Transmit Frames

- Reports the total number of frames

transmitted.

Receive Frames

- Reports the total number of frames

received.

Loss %

- Reports the percentage of frame loss that occurred

during the test. This calculation is the received frames divided
by transmitted frames.

First, Prev, Next,
Last

Allows the user to scroll through packet sizes to view their
test results.

Start/Stop Test

Starts and stops the Frame Loss test. The button toggles
between Start (when a test is not running) and Stop (when a
test is running).

On completion of the RFC 2544 testing, the Throughput and Frame Loss test results
can be graphically displayed.

Goto Throughput Graph

to view the Throughput Results, for your

selected frame sizes measured against the RFC standardizations table for frame
length and frames per second criteria.
