4  Replacement Procedures 

Installing the system board 

The following describes the procedure for installing the system board and LCD cover 
assembly. (See Figure 4-30.)

Install the 

system board

 on the base assembly.

Install the 

modem cable holder 

to the slot. 

NOTE:

  When installing a new modem cable holder, reuse the 

double-sided tape

 and stick 

it in place. If the adhesive strength of the double-sided tape on the modem cable 
holder is weak, replace it with a new one.

Install the 

modem jack, DC-IN jack

 and 

HDD cable

 to the slot. 

NOTE:

  Arrange the modem cable on the modem cable holder as shown in the figure 

below.

Stick the

 in place.

Connect the 

Bluetooth cable

wireless LAN antenna cable
