Using the Advanced A-%T-C Test Method 

Use the Advanced A-%T-C mode to obtain advanced concentration measurements. Methods, 
data and factors can be saved in this application. This advanced concentration mode is useful 
for very simple comparisons that do not require a standard curve. For better accuracy, use the 

Standard Curve Test Technique

.  

The Advanced A-%T-C mode measures concentration using either a standard or factor to 
convert absorbance readings to concentration units. When using a standard, specify the 
concentration of the standard and measure its absorbance. When using a factor, specify the 
factor and concentration units. The steps for taking measurements in the two modes are similar, 
the only difference is if a standard is measured or a factor is entered.  

 

Setting the Parameters for Advanced A-%T-C Method 

1.

 

Press the test key to access the Test Types menu.  

2.

 

Press the ▲or ▼ key to highlight Advanced A-%T-C and press the enter key. 

 

3.

 

Press the ▲or ▼ key to highlight Measurement Mode and press the enter key. Press the 
▲or ▼ key to highlight Conc/Std or Conc/Factor and press the enter key. 

 

4.

 

Highlight and change the displayed test parameters, including Test Name, Wavelength, 
Concentration of Standard, Factor, Units and Sample Positioner.
