Plasma not Lit
The log view in the Experiment Editor is most useful. It is
recommended to check the previous days log and to make sure that
none of the instrument parameters has significantly changed.
In case of problems with the plasma, the Plasma Lit LED in the
Dashboard is red, see
The following procedures gives a step-by-step guide, which covers the
most frequent causes of this failure.

To solve plasma issues
1. Make sure that all interlocks in the Dashboard are satisfied. If not,
see
2. Make sure that the gas lines are securely connected and free from
kinks.
3. Make sure that the gas flow readback values in the Dashboard are
ok.
4. Make sure that the tubings of the peristaltic pump are not damaged
or clogged.
5. Make sure that the nebulizer is not damaged or blocked.
6. Make sure that the nebulizer tubing is not damaged or clogged.
7. Make sure that the nebulizer tubing is securely fastened.
8. Make sure that the spray chamber is not damaged and properly
drained.
9. Make sure the waste line is properly connected to the spray chamber.
10. Make sure that the injector is properly inserted in the plasma torch
assembly and not damaged.
11. Make sure that the plasma torch is in good condition with no
cracked or melted areas.
12. Make sure the plasma torch is dry.
13. Make sure the torch body is aligned correctly inside the torch
holder, see
