Equipment: Oscilloscope, function generator, counter
Preparation:
1. Configure the Oscilloscope as follows:
Termination: 50

2. Configure the counter as follows:
Function: TOT B
Trigger Level: 100 mV
3. Connect 5251 output to the oscilloscope input
4. Configure the function generator as follows:
Frequency 1 MHz
Run Mode: As required by the test
Wave: TTL Square
5. Connect the function generator output to the 5251 TRIG IN
connector
6. Configure the 5251 as follows:
Frequency: 25 MHz
Waveform: Sinewave
Burst Count:
1e6 counts
Amplitude: 1 V
Trigger Source: External
Output: On
Test Procedure:
1. Perform trigger and gate tests using Tables 15
