DISASSEMBLY

• Remove the starter driven gear.
• Remove the rollers

, push pieces

and springs

• Hold the generator rotor with the special tool and remove the

starter clutch bolts.



09930-44521: Rotor holder

• Remove the starter clutch body

REASSEMBLY

• Apply a small quantity of thread lock to the starter clutch bolts

and tighten them to the specified torque while holding the spe-
cial tool.



99000-32030: THREAD LOCK SUPER “1303”

or equivalent



Starter clutch bolt: 26 N·m (2.6 kgf-m, 19.0 lbf-ft)


