8-50     CHASSIS

REASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

Reassemble and install the rear wheel in the reverse order of
removal and disassembly. Pay attention to the following points:

REAR SPROCKET

• Tighten the rear sprocket nut to the specified torque.

Rear sprocket nut: 60 N·m (6.0 kgf-m, 43.5 lbf-ft)

NOTE:
The stamped mark 

A

 on the sprocket should face outside.

BEARING

• Apply grease to the bearings before installing them.

99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A”

or equivalent

• Install the collar 

1

 into the sprocket mounting drum.

NOTE:
The flange side 

A

 of collar 

1

 should face sprocket side.
