4-44     FI SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS

Step 2

1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Disconnect the ET sensor coupler.
3) Measure the ET sensor resistance.

ET sensor resistance: 

1.95 – 4.18 k

Ω

 at 20 – 40 °C (68 – 104 °F)

• Replace the ECM with a known good one, and 

inspect it again.
