FUEL SYSTEM AND THROTTLE BODY     5-7

FUEL PUMP REMOVAL AND DISASSEMBLY

• Remove the fuel tank. (

• Remove the fuel pump assembly

 by removing its mounting

bolts diagonally.

• Remove the O-ring

• Remove the clip and then fuel mesh filter

.

• Remove the band

.

• Disconnect the fuel hose

 and fuel pump terminals

.

• Remove the fuel pump assembly 

7

.

• Remove the holder

.

• Remove the fuel pump 

9

.

Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
