Section 2 Basic Operations

Installing/Removing the Media

Installing the Media Roll in the Winder

Adjust the roll spacer position according to the media

width.

The roll spacer prevents the paper tube from sagging in
the center by the weight of media.

(1) Remove the two screws, and move the roll

spacer so that it comes to the center of the

media. The spacer is locked at three places with

screws.

Prepare the paper tube, and insert it into the scroller.

(1) Using the media positioning tool, determine
the distance between the edge of the paper tube

and the flange, and rotate the handwheel to lock
the main scroller.
