Auxiliary functions
The free terminals can be used for defining auxiliary functions.
An auxiliary function is activated as soon as a free terminal is assigned to it.
When “scrolling” the terminal spaces, only the free terminals appear. Terminals that are
used will be skipped.
In the case of auxiliary functions that require both a sensor and a relay terminal, both
must be correctly defined. Otherwise, an error message will appear.
The controller only permits auxiliary functions that are compatible with the basic dia-
gram. If an attempt is made to select an invalid auxiliary function, the display will show
OFF
.
A summary of all available auxiliary functions is given in the auxiliary functions library in
document CE1P2489en (Configuration and application for 1 or 2 heat sources) or
CE1P2490en (Configuration and application for 3 heat sources).
4.18 Return diversion Y15 / Y¯ 15 / B73 (ZuFu1)
When a certain temperature differential is reached, the return will be diverted via the
lower part of the buffer storage tank. This function can be used to either
raise or lower
the return temperature
. The effective functionality will be defined on operating line
482. Additional setting choices are offered on operating lines 480, 481 and 483.

So that return diversion is activated, both diverting valve Y15 (and / or Y¯15) and sen-
sor B73 must be assigned to a free terminal.
If only one of the 2 components is assigned, an error message will appear under “Con-
figuration error” (operating line 202).
Operating line 140 (relay assignment):
101...110
Diverting valve Y15 can be assigned to a free relay terminal between
Q101 and Q110.
---
No assignment made and the return diversion is not activated.
Operating line 141 (relay assignment for the inverted signal):
101...110
The inverted signal for diverting valve
Y¯15
can be assigned to one of
the free relay terminals between Q101 and Q110.
It is required for the control of 2-wire actuators (in addition to Y15). As
soon as relay Y15 is deenergized, relay Y¯15 will be energized with a
delay of 1 second, and vice versa.
--- No
assignment
made.
