1 Summary
1.1 Brief
description
SIGMAGYR™ controllers RVP540 and RVP550 are designed for the coordinated con-
trol of the following pieces of heat generating equipment:
solar collector
wood-fired boiler
heat pump
Oil-
or
gas-fired boiler
With the RVP540, the
maximum number of heat sources
is limited to 2 , with
the RVP550, to 3.
Buffer
and / or
d.h.w. storage tank
or
combi storage tank
Pump heating circuit
or
mixing heating circuit
1.2 Features

Heat generation with heat pump
•
Heat generation with solar collectors
•
Management of buffer, d.h.w. or combi storage tanks
•
Heat generation controlled either directly by the RVP540 or by an additional con-
troller of the SIGMAGYR™ range (e.g. RVL471, RVL472 or BMU)
•
Heat source temperature setpoint according to the heat demand from the heating
circuits connected to the system
•
Heat source temperature setpoint according to the temperature requisition
(DC 0…10 V, input H1, for controllers not included in the system)
•
Heat generation lock or minimum demand for heat with the remote switch (via con-
tact H1)
