The transmitter enclosure is fitted with a thermistor mounted on the main process
PCB. The thermistor will measure the temperature inside the enclosure.
Option 4:
Receiver enclosure
The receiver enclosure is fitted with a thermistor mounted on the main process PCB.
The thermistor will measure the temperature inside the enclosure.
An offset can be applied to correct for differences in measurement gas temperature
and the internal enclosure temperature.
Hint: Under normal operating conditions the enclosure internal temperature is
approximately 15 to 20°C above ambient.
Note
: The internal temperature sensor is factory calibrated. The offset is stored in the
calibration certificate provided with the analyzer.
Note : If an environmental purge is fitted, the value reported may be higher or lower
than the ambient temperature dependent on the purge gas temperature, and an
adjustment to the calculated offset should be applied.
