Security**
After connecting to a local network, the
Security
protocol can be manually set if the thermostat
doesn’t automatically assign the protocol already set in the local network. The supported protocols
are WPA1™, WPA2™, WPA1™ + WPA2™.
Key**
When connecting to a local network, a shared key or passphrase is typically required to join the
network. This is typically set during the joining process.
IP**
This is the IP Address of the thermostat. It is either assigned through the DHCP process or manually
entered if joining a network using a static IP Address.
SUB**
This is the Subnet Mask of the thermostat. It is either assigned through the DHCP process or manually
entered if joining a network using a static Subnet Mask.
GW**
This is the IP Address of the Gateway in the local network. The gateway IP Address is typically the IP
Address of the router. It can be either automatically set through DHCP or manually set when using
static values.
DNS**
If there is a DNS Server (Dynamic Name Server) in your network, enter the IP Address. If there is no
DNS, the IP Address given will match the IP Address given to the local router.
Port**
The Default port number is 2000. If connecting to the router through a di
ff
erent port, the port
number can be entered manually.
Chan**
The default is set to
Auto
. The thermostat will scan all the channels looking for the correct channel to
join the network. Alternatively, if the channel of the network is known, the channel can be manually
set.
Adhoc Mode
Adhoc mode is not supported within a Savant Configuration/Installation.
Reset Time
Default is O
ff
. (Range = 3-24 hrs in 3 hour increments)
Reboot Radio
After performing maintenance on a local network, the Wi-Fi radio in the SST-W100 may need to be
rebooted to connect. Rebooting the radio does not change any settings. For information on how to
reboot, refer to the
section.
Restore Radio
The Restore Radio function reboots the Wi-Fi radio and restores all settings to their default values.
