Fan Cycler
ON

configurable from 0 - 120 minutes (Default= 0 minutes)

OFF

periodically without any calls for heating or
cooling.
Fan Cycler
set to OFF sets the amount of time the fan will be OFF during this cycle and is
configurable from 10 - 120 minutes (Default= 10 minutes)
Cooling Setpoint
The high temperature setpoint. If the temperature goes above this setpoint, the system will call for
cooling. The setpoint is adjusted in 1° increments using the
+/-
buttons.
Heating Setpoint
The low temperature setpoint. If the temperature goes below this setpoint, the system will call for
heat. The setpoint is adjusted up or down in 1° increments using the
+/-
buttons.

The type of sensor is configured here. All temperature sensors available through Savant employ the

RS2 Type
The type of sensor is configured here. All temperature sensors available through Savant employ the
10K Type 2
thermistors. See the Temperature Sensors section for more information.
RS2 location
The location of the remote sensor RS2 is configured here. RS2 can be configured as an indoor or
outdoor sensor. When configured as an indoor sensor, the temperature displayed is an average
between RS2 and either RS1 or the internal sensor. When configured as an outdoor sensor, the outside
temperature is displayed on the LCD. See the
section for more information.

menu is where the type of HVAC system is configured. Refer to the
section for more information on the options described below.

- Configures the thermostat to control a standard type HVAC system.

Heatpump
- Configures the thermostat to control a heating system that employs a heat pump.
Fan Type
The Fan Type can be set to either Electric or Gas.
Fan Type (Electric)
- Selecting Electric will activate the fan relay for heating and/or cooling calls.
Fan Type (Gas)
- Selecting Gas will activate relay for cooling calls only.
2nd Stage Heat
Select either Y or N to indicate whether 2 stage heating is being employed. If the

, select Y or N to indicate to thermostat that a separate Auxiliary Heat (EHEAT) system will
be used.
Aux Heat (HP)
Select either Y or N to indicate whether 2 stage heating is being employed. If the

be used.
2nd Stage Cool
Select either Y or N to indicate whether 2 stage cooling is being employed.
