11. Temperature
The SST-W100 monitors the temperature using a sensor mounted inside the thermostat. The thermostat also
has the capability of adding up to two additional sensors. Refer to the information below for information on
configuring and monitoring temperature.
Temperature Setpoints
The temperature setpoints tell the HVAC system when to call for heating or cooling. To modify the
temperature setpoints, do the following:
Modify Heating and Cooling Setpoint
1. From the main thermostat control screen, press either the up or down arrow button. This will open either
the
COOLING or HEATING SETPOINT screen. The screen that opens (Heating or Cooling) is dependent
on which screen was last modified.
2. Modify the setpoint, by pressing the up/down arrow buttons to the desired setpoint.
3. Move to the opposite setpoint than what is displayed, by pressing the button labeled either
Heat or
Cool . This button is located on the bottom right of the LCD screen.
4. Modify the opposite setpoint, by pressing the up/down arrow buttons to the desired setpoint.
5. Select
Done when complete.
6. The cooling and heating setpoint will now be displayed on the main thermostat control screen. Refer to
image below.
Maximum/Minimum Temperature Setpoints
The maximum and minimum temperature setpoints configure the maximum and minimum values the heating
and cooling setpoints can be set to. To set the Max/Min temp values, do the following:
1. Press the MENU button to open the Menu Selection screen.
2. Open the Installer Settings menu by pressing the two middle buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
Refer to the Humidity Monitoring Icon section for instructions.
3. From the Installer Settings screen, scroll down to the Max Heat SP option. Using the +/- buttons, either
increase or decrease the Max Heat SP value (Range = 40° - 109°F, Default = 90°).
4. Scroll down to the Min Cool SP option. Using the +/- buttons, either increase or decrease the Min Cool
SP (Range = 43°- 112° F, Default = 60°).
