Screen Timeout
The SST-W100 can be configured to go into power saver mode. In this mode, only the temperature is
displayed. By default, the screen timeout is set to 0. This setting will not allow the thermostat to go into
power saver mode. To set the timeout, do the following:
1.
Press the
MENU
button to open the
Menu Selection
screen.
2. Scroll to and
Select
the
User Settings
option.
3. Scroll to and
Select
the
Screen Timeout
option.
4. Using the
+/-
buttons, set the timer. (Range = 20 - 120 seconds, 0=No Timeout - Never goes into )
5. Select
Done,
when complete.
TIP!
If the SST-W100 goes into power saver mode, the LCD backlight is dimmed and only the temperature is
displayed. To bring the thermostat out of power saver mode, press any button on the front panel twice.
Pressing the button twice will turn on the backlight LCD and open the configuration screen.
Set Temperature Scale
To set the thermostat to display the temperature in fahrenheit or celsius, do the following:
1.
Press the
MENU
button to open the
Menu Selection
screen.
2. Scroll to and
Select
the
User Settings
option.
3. Scroll to and
Select
the
F/C Settings
option.
4. Using the
+/-
buttons, set to either
F
=fahrenheit or
C
=celsius.
5. Select
Done
when complete.
BackLite Display
The lighting and contrast levels on the LCD display can be modified. See information below.
1.
Press the
MENU
button to open the
Menu Selection
screen.
2. Scroll to and
Select
the
User Settings
option.
3. Scroll to and
Select
the
Backlite/Display
option.
4. Scroll to each option and using the
+/-
buttons, modify each. Refer to table below.
Setting
Description
BackLite Timeout
Sets the time from last button press that the Backlite will timeout and turn OFF. The timeout
value is adjustable from 0 or 20 to 120 seconds. If set to 0, the Backlite will always be ON. If set
in the range of 20 to 120 seconds, the Backlite will turn OFF after the selected time expires
ON Level
Sets the level of light while the display is ON. (Default = 100%)
OFF Level
Sets the level of light while the display is ON. (Default = 0%)
Contrast
Sets the contrast level of the LCD display, adjustable from 0 to 20. Use this control to adjust the
darkness of the display. Typically 10-12 is a normal setting.
5. Select
Done,
when complete.
