HDR and WCG Conversion Methods
Conversion for HDR and WCG can be applied at a
number of points in the video stream through the
switcher. Where you apply conversion will depend on
how you want to use the video.
•
Switcher
— the switcher is operating in a particular
HDR and WCG mode. These are the color gamut and
dynamic range that all sources are converted to and
all outputs are set to. Refer to
on page 20 for information.
•
Input Conversion
— conversion is applied to the
input video to match the mode the switcher is
operating in. Like video format conversion, you must
select the HDR and WCG that the source is coming
into the switcher in. The switcher will then convert
the video to the same color gamut and dynamic range
that it is operating in. Refer to
on page 24 for information.
•
Output Conversion
— conversion is applied to the
output video. You can set an output to convert the
color gamut and dynamic range of any video source
being fed out it. This conversion is only applied to
the selected output. Refer to
on page 31 for more
information.
•
Individual Conversion
— the internal color
correctors are used to convert a particular source on
a particular bus. You can manually convert a source
on a bus and use the color correction menu to adjust
the video. Refer to
on page 80 for more
information.
