Error: Update file not found
You instructed Galaxy NAS LX5 to perform a systems update, but did not supply a valid Galaxy NAS
LX5 update file. Contact Galaxy Support. Next, copy the upgrade file into your "update" folder (please
spell upgrade lower case). Finally, select "update" from the menu.
Error: No share volume
You must create a volume for file sharing before you can create any resource shares or search for
shares. Look into the “Getting Started” section of this manual for instructions on creating a share
volume.
Error: No share volume to browse
You must create a volume for file sharing before you can browse it in order to create resource shares.
Error: Invalid user name!
User name cannot:
(1) Contain characters: ~ ! @ # $ ^ & ( ) + [ ] { } * ; : ' " . , % | < > ? / \ = `
(2) Begin or end with a space
The use of the SMB (Server Message Block) protocol from Windows, also known as CIFS or Samba,
places some restrictions on the use of special characters. These restrictions have historical reasons,
but are still binding today. User names must not contain any of the above mentioned characters.
