66 . Maintenance 

 

Removing the Sample Compartment Windows 

¾

 

Each window has a magnetic frame and can be carefully removed by hand. 
Replace the window in its original position. 

Removing the Sample Compartment Baseplate 

1.

 

With the sample compartment cover open or removed, undo the four thumbscrews 

shown in Figure 24.

Lift the baseplate up off the locating pins and remove it from the sample compartment.

After removing the sample compartment cover and baseplate as described above, undo 

the four retaining screws shown in Figure 25.
