Opening the Climbing Shoe:
1. Release the locking spring (44.6).
For this, pull out the ring under
the guiding skid (44.2).

2. Lift securing pins (44.3).
3. Fold up guiding skids (44.2).
(Fig. D1.02 + D1.02a)
4. Re-insert securing pins (44.3) in the
opened position; place the locking
spring (44.6) only loosely on the
guiding skid.

5. Proceed in the same way with the
other guiding skid.

Opening the guiding skids facilitates in-
serting the Climbing Rail during climb-
ing and allows inserting the Climbing
Rail during initial assembly.
