Setting Touch Switches

Print Screen Setting: When a touch switch is pressed, printing of the dis-
played screen is started or suspended. This function is
only available when using an NT30, NT30C, NT612G,
or NT610C with Ver.2 or a later version of the direct con-
nection function.
Reference: The type of printer used (EPSON Esc/P printer (24 pin)) and the printing method
when using an NT30C or NT610C (color, grayscale) are set using the memory
switches on the PT body (see p.28).
The following eight types of display area can be specified for touch switches. How-
ever, note that the shapes that can be used depend on the settings made for “PT
Type” and “Direct Access”, as shown below:

In the case of squares, circles, polygons and fans, the sensitive area (the area that
senses being touched) and display area (the area that lights, goes off, or flashes in
accordance with the status of the PC bit) can be specified separately.
